Comparing Amazon France, Italy and Spain

By bezprice-redactie · Published on 28 August 2026 · Last reviewed on 28 August 2026

Alongside Amazon.nl and Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it and Amazon.es are three southern European stores that bezprice covers. All three price in euros, but that doesn't mean a product costs the same everywhere, or is identical everywhere.

This guide helps you judge a price difference: where it comes from, and what to check before you order.

Why prices can differ

Every Amazon store sets its own price. VAT rates, local pricing, the seller behind an offer and temporary promotions all play a part. This explainer goes deeper into the causes.

A difference tells you something about this moment, not about a country. Prices change; our data is never more than 24 hours old and always carries a timestamp.

Language and currency

  • Amazon.fr is in French, Amazon.it in Italian and Amazon.es in Spanish. Product text written by sellers is usually not translated.
  • All three price in euros, so there's nothing to convert. Only for Sweden does bezprice use an exchange rate.
  • Customer service and return instructions are usually in the language of that store.

Availability and seller

Whether a product is available, and who's offering it, differs per store. A low item price is only useful if the product is actually available for your address. We show what we retrieved per store; if that fails, we say so instead of showing a stale price.

Checking the version and variant

The same ASIN refers to a specific version, but stores can carry different bundles or regional variants. For electronics, pay attention to the plug, software language, keyboard layout and included accessories. If a product page flags that titles differ significantly, treat that as a signal to look closer and check the version at Amazon.

Delivery to your address

Comparing store by store, in practice

Comparing across three stores works best if you follow the same order each time. Open the stores side by side and judge the same four points per store, rather than just looking at the price.

  1. Version: is this exactly the variant you want, including colour, size, capacity and bundle contents?
  2. Seller: does Amazon sell and ship it itself, or a third-party seller?
  3. Delivery: does it ship to your address, and what delivery time is shown?
  4. Total: what's the amount at checkout, including shipping?

We don't claim that one store is consistently cheaper. A difference you see today can be different tomorrow.

Product page language and the version

A French, Italian or Spanish product page is usually in the language of that store. Your browser can translate the page, but text written by sellers and images containing text often stay in the original language. That matters most for specifications that really count.

  • Manuals and menu language for devices can differ per version.
  • Plug type and included adapter are sometimes only listed in the specification table.
  • Size labels for clothing and shoes can be shown differently per country.
  • Bundles and promotional sets aren't put together the same way in every store.

Is it really the same version?

The same ASIN usually points to the same item, but it's worth confirming rather than assuming. Compare the key specifications between the two stores you're considering: model number, package contents and quantity. If the titles differ significantly, treat that as a prompt to look closer, not as an error.

Not sure you're working with the right number? Our explainer on the ASIN shows exactly where to find it.

Delivery address, seller and checkout

Only once your address is known does Amazon show whether delivery is possible, what it costs and how long it takes. So do that step before making a choice. Also note that some product pages show multiple sellers: the cheapest offer isn't always the one selected by default.

Final check before you order

  1. Does the version match (model, colour, capacity, bundle)?
  2. What's the total price including shipping at checkout?
  3. Who is the seller, and what does it say about returns and warranty?
  4. Is the delivery time acceptable for your address?
